THE MOVE INITIATIVE

The Move is a two-year generosity initiative enabling us to fulfill the ministry plan of our church while simultaneously initiating the construction of a new campus on the land we have purchased. More than this, we want to believe for the impossible, grow in our faith, and see God move together.

Why We Tithe

MALACHI 3:10

Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.

LUKE 11:42

Jesus said, “Woe to you Pharisees, because you give God a tenth of your mint, rue and all other kinds of garden herbs, but you neglect justice and the love of God. You should have practiced the latter without leaving the former undone.” (Luke 11:42)

TITHE

We bring God the tithe because it belongs to Him. We are stewards, and God is worthy to be first in our lives. He is the Creator of everything, so all that we have belongs to Him. He simply asks us to return the first 10% of what He has provided to us as a way of declaring that He has first place in our lives.

2 CORINTHIANS 9:7

Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. (2 Corinthians 9:7)

GIVING

We give because we are made in God’s image, and He is a giver. We are never more like God than when we give. Thank you for partnering with New Tribe Church to reach, not only the lost and broken, but the poor and needy as well.
