promise Co / 26
April 16-18, 2026
Promise Conference is an annual Word & Spirit conference hosted by New Tribe Church in (Nashville) Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. Promise Co. was launched in 2023 to stir a desire for the Acts 2:17 promise of the Holy Spirit's outpouring, "I will pour out My Spirit on all people".
Presence driven worship, powerful preaching, teaching on the spiritual gifts, and prophetic activation are at the heart of every conference. Whether you're a seasoned believer, or brand new to the faith, we invite you to come and be refreshed and empowered by the Holy Spirit to live as a bold witness for Jesus. This year's conference theme is "Pour It All Out".

FAQ
View
Q: Is Promise Co good for students to attend?
A: Yes! This is a great environment for 6th grade and up. Students aged 12-21 qualify for the student discount.
Q: Can I bring my kids to Promise Co?
A: There will not be kids ministry for this event. Children 12 and older are required to register and are welcome to use the student discount. Children younger than 12, including lap children, are welcome to attend if they can sit in a conference environment. We have a mother's room and foyer available to prevent disruptions to the service. Please register any child that will be in a seat using the (free) child add on choice in registration.
Q: I can only attend one day, can I get a discount?
A: Both conference days are packed full with guest speakers and worship, so we are unable to offer a discount if you're only able to attend one day. But whichever day you choose, we are confident it will be well worth the investment!
Q: Can I use the group rate with my friends that I know are going?
A: Yes! Text the group chat, get 6 names and confirmations (adults), and have one person sign everyone up. You don't need to be related or traveling together, just someone willing to make it happen. And if you don't have enough people, invite some others outside the group chat! It's a great opportunity to build relationships, encourage faith, AND save money.
Q: What do you mean by "Word and Spirit"?
A: "Word and Spirit" describes an intentional, balanced approach in contemporary charismatic-leaning Christianity that values both biblical fidelity and supernatural experience. Identifying this way are typically charismatic or continuationists (believing that all biblical spiritual gifts continue today) but with a strong evangelical emphases on Scripture. They aim to avoid the pitfalls of overly rigid cessationist traditions (which may downplay ongoing miraculous gifts) or overly experiential charismatic streams (which may lack biblical depth or accountability).
Q: Is Promise Conference uncomfortable or intimidating to those who come from more traditional/reverent backgrounds of faith?
A: While Promise Conference has a charismatic expression of faith, we believe in the importance of doing things in order and not being a distraction or hindrance to the work of the Spirit and the Word of the Lord. As New Tribe has many members from many types of backgrounds, we actively work to create a welcoming, empowering environment for those who are brand new to operating in the spiritual gifts as well as offering depth, refreshing, and practical tools for those already familiar with these topics.
