Day 5
Week 1 - The Father
Physical Fasting: Fast a meal each day and instead spend that time in worship & prayer.
Mental Disciplines: Staying off (or limiting) social media apps.
Remember - the goal is not perfection or legalism, but to experience a deeper closeness to God through reminding ourselves of our dependency on Him.
Day 5:
Scripture -
“If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him!” - Matthew 7:11
Prayer Focus - Thank God again for the good gifts in your life. Ask that God “re-parent” you, where your earthly father fell short, ask Him to be a Father to you in those areas.
