Week 2 - The Son
Physical Fasting: Skip or limit comfort foods like meats, sweets, and/or carbs, and continue to fast a meal a day - replacing that time with worship and prayer.
Mental Disciplines: Stay off/limit social media apps, and listen only to worship or devotional music.
Remember - the goal is not perfection or legalism, but to experience a deeper closeness to God through reminding ourselves of our dependency on Him.
Day 14:
Scripture -
For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority. - Colossians 2:9-10
Prayer Focus - Thank Jesus that He is the head over every power and authority. Ask Him to give you this perspective today and in 2026.
